Couture Candy: Makeup with Glasses
Couture Candy at CoutureCandy.com
Couture Candy offers a huge selection of fashions on their website, CoutureCandy.com. While they are way out of my price range for ordinary wardrobe purchases, for the average American there can be great savings on a lot of wardrobe options for women, men, and kids on CoutureCandy.com. Along with that, Couture Candy also offers the option to sort their fashion by item category or by name or label, a handy feature for those shoppers who are patrons of a particular name brand or label.
Couture Candy for women
The women's fashion section of Couture Candy looks pretty impressive upon entry to the site. There is quite a long sidebar list of brand names (or categories of items if you switch views) and I have to admit, I was impressed. That is until I actually started browsing. Their intimates section, for instance, supports only one brand that I've never even heard of, and all of the options were available on one page (and most of the options were the same thing, just a different color). But most of the other sections I checked out appear to have a better selection, although it still looks like the clothes are all for a certain fashion sense or "style." Perhaps they are just keeping up with the modern trends (I wouldn't know, since I don't keep up).
Couture Candy for men
The men's section of Couture Candy was certainly much smaller than the women's section, although I'm sure there are a variety of reasons for this. Not only was the category list smaller, but the number of things in many of the categories seemed to be less than comparable categories in the ladies section of Couture Candy. But I guess perhaps that is just because they are not counting on a lot of men shopping Couture Candy (maybe women getting stuff for the guy? But I know a lot of guys who would be very put off by the name Couture Candy; sexist or not, it is what it is). Overall, I'd say not really a site for guys, unless maybe they want a nice shirt or something.
Couture Candy for kids
The Couture Candy for kids section is, according to CoutureCandy.com, "coming soon." I find the idea of Couture Candy for kids to be a little odd. I mean, kids grow so fast, and they can be so rough on clothes (that is, if they are allowed to be kids) that buying Couture Candy for them, or any kind of expensive clothes, just seems a little silly. Then again, I feel the same way about clothes for myself or my fiance. We just live life too much to make it a waste of money to purchase articles of clothing that are hundreds of dollars each (or, honestly, even tens of dollars each). So I'll stick to my thrift stores, and you go have fun at Couture Candy without me. Happy shopping!
